Hi,
my golf gt tdi 130 has an uneven idle from cold, which lasts for about the first 5 minutes - the revs drop to about 750, then climb to about 1100. Once the car is warm, there is no problem. Any ideas?

Our 405 was doing this. Turned out to be either a slightly loose glowplug or a very slight airleak into the diesel at the filter housing. Found both problems at the same time and that seemed to fix it.
But then our 405 is a bit of a freak as far as cars go....... think Frankenstein!
