Hi,
I have a citroen berlingo multispace 2003 2.0hdi
does anyone know if I can use biodiesel?

Depends whether it's "proper" biodiesel, or home-made veggie oil diesel.
Being an HDi, it's more sensitive than older engines to poor quality fuel (the pressure in the fuel rail on a CR diesel gets over 1500 bar!!). So, if it's proper mass-produced stuff, go ahead. Don't even dream of pouring rapeseed oil into the tank, because you'll be looking at a new set of injectors and pump (big money!)

i second that
about two months ago i filled up the berlingo 2.0 hdi with bio fuel that was very cheap from a garage in cheetham hill manchester.
for the next journey hull and back fine but when the bio fuel kicked in it ran very poor worse than my old clio diesel on 100% veg oil on a lucas pump. next run to lecce very poor until france then refill with total diesel that it enjoys.
must say that i am lucky to have a rix petroleum fuel station near me and it runs on their biodiesel brilliantly it also runs well on french biodiesel.
best to stick to the proper stuff as the fuel system will cost more than its worth. or exchange for an old 1.9 xud berlingo that will run on any old oil.

I would probably suggest trying it in small ratios to begin with. As the previous poster said that it runs fine on Rix & French biodiesel, it has to be remembered that that is 5% Bio and 95% diesel. My father in law has a Xsara Picasso HDI and he's running fine on a 50/50 mix, and I would suggest that that is as high as you want to go but start at 90/10 and work your way up.
