I spotted what seemed to be a brand new "06" reg old style VW Camper Van this week. How can this be?

Thanks for that, how do they get round all the regs (crash, green etc..) There is no way the one I saw would pass a modern "cat" emission test. Looked good though.

No idea how they pass tests. They are very expensive though.

They also stop making them forever very soon.

BJ - if it passed the approvals process then it must be able to pass the emissions regs, I'd suggest.

i thought that is what they were an original design engine with an injection system whacked on it to get the emmissions down but hardly a refined solution
