I could understand if had it been the butt, but he was fined for flicking the ash. I flick ash out of the window, but put the butt in a butt bag and then the bin.

There are some very sad little people about. I wonder what this council officers job actually is? Probably an Outreach Councillor of some sort, copping about 45k per annum.

Pity the same person didn't see the idiot weaving all over the M62 eariler today, narrowly missing a car which had broken down, the reason? He was trying to roll a cigarette - incomprehensible. As for smokers throwing tab ends everywhere, don't get me started.

Got to agree. I live in the middle of woodland and every thing was tinder dry until yesterday. Not much traffic goes past our house but i keep finding smouldering fag ends on the bone dry grass outside. Who do these people think they are? - to put it mildly.

Wait till it's illegal and they have to increase fuel duty to recover the lost revenue.
