Put up job? Definitely, an airbag would inflate at 1000 times that speed!

Its fake, No smoke or lubricant power.
A deployed airbag is very smokey believe me.

No smoke, far to slow inflation for a real airbag & the bang was far to quite too.

Appreciate your comments. I did wonder whether it was real when I first saw it, but either way it is well done.
I found it when I was trying to locate the Mercedes dem of their collision avoidance system that went wrong - their spin on it was that the test driver hadn't been told that he had to switch the system on. Does anyone know it the video clip is available on the web?
