Yes, a Russian has bought LDV, the Birmingham van builder, for £50m, despite it losing £4m a month. His plans are to expand sales by 50% next year.

iI've only seen a handful of LDV Maxus vans on the road, and the one I saw yesterday already looked tatty.

wasnt painted in a kind of red colour was it with an ER on the side?
my local postie can put his van anywhere that other vans wont get to and he has the dents to prove it ;)

No, it was white with raised pimple-dents made by chucking heavy bits and pieces about inside the van.
