Surely these balcked out windows are illegal - on the back OK but the sides and windscreen must fail as they are almost 100% balcked out

You can have them blacked out if you're wealthy enough to get a Doctor's note. He is wealthy enough.

I was enquiring about the ability to have them blacked out if you have a doctors note. Thats not enshrined in any statute book.

Its a "Security Vehicle" :

a motor vehicle which is constructed, not merely adapted, for the carriage of either:

persons who are likely to require protection from any criminal offence involving violence or
dangerous substances, bullion, money, jewellery (Skeletor) documents or other goods or burden which by reason of their nature or value are likely to require protection from any criminal offence.

Thus Derek is excused the requirement to have his windows of specified safety glass under Con and Use and therefore I presume the question of tinting, hence "Lookatmelookatme"'s driver doesn't get done.
