Not sure if this is a technical matters question, but what's the best way to repair car seats ?

My Skoda is in great nick, apart from a couple of bits on the front seats - a small tear in the passenger seat base, and a bit of scuffing on both - looks like a bit of wear on both, but only in a couple of places, so it looks like the fabric section could simply be replaced - anyone any experience of this ?

Getting hold of seat covers is the difficult bit. If you are good at sewing, you can always make a pattern seat cover.

Best bet is to go to a scrappy and pick up a a spare.

There are mobile repairers for interiors, just like there are Dent Remover & Chips Away Franchises - they can patch up seat covers, cigarette burns etc - cannot recall the names but I am sure Google will have them listed

Just go for the retro-look and just get a set of furry seat covers!

My local car shop is doing a matching set of Barbie interiors.

Pink furry seat covers, pink furry steering wheel cover, and matching pink fluffy dice.

"4 fluttering England flags...."

Poor effort TVM, saw a people carrier with 2 flags on each door and a windsock thing on the aerial the other day......

Pink furry seat covers, pink furry steering wheel cover, and matching pink fluffy dice.

Saw a silver Corsa decked out like this recently. Yuk.

>>Very poor taste

I doubt if any toe rag would want to steal it as it was so awful to look at. It was very girly and no doubt the chavess (?) was very pleased with the result. Possibly a Pink fan?

Replacing fabric covers on seats is expensive, Try & find either a good set of second hand seats or someone who repairs them.

Try a furniture upholsterer.
