Dent repairs - Walton2
We've a shared drive and for the first time in 16 years our neighbour just rubbed against the front bumber of my wife's Focus whilst backing down. Too small for a garage/insurance job but I think too deep to T-cut out. I've searched this site for the repairers but I'm sure there are variations even in the national chains. Can anybody recommend any in the Wakefield/Leeds area? Thanks

It is a reasonably safe bet, that they have got 'dent' somewhere in the company name, except for ChipsAway of course.

It wasn't finding one that's the probloem, it's finding one that does a good job. Anybody with with a tub of pollyfilla and a touch-up can could call themselves 'Super-dent-repair'. I was interested in any personal recommendations.

Why not just use a local independant bodyshop? you must know someone that can recommend one?

sometimes you can ask a question and not realise that you already know the answer........
im sure if the OP asks friends etc or at work quite a few will have had some kind of bodywork repair done locally in the last 12 months both good and bad?

I used my local ChipsAway to get rid of a couple of bumper scuffs - couldn't fault the repair and would highly recommend them. They come to your house, so no hassles with losing the car while they do the work. I think they are a franchise, but guess there must be some quality standard they work to so that the fanchise brand gets a good reputation. I'd be happy to use them again anytime.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, I know a bodyshop who does a good job but they're too busy to be really interested in the very minor stuff, more a full rub down and respray place. I might give the ChipsAway chaps a call.
