Ha!
Not yet....
A bit more info: The guy supplying them isnt a car trader, he is a businessman with lots of fingers in pies (apparently he is a multimillionaire, well known in the area as reputable, not a dodgy dealer) One of his businesses is a taxi firm and the cars are coming through this.
He has (he says) bought - as in paid for - sixty Rover 75's. (there are also some MG's involved but thats on top). The cars should have been delivered to him on Friday, but didnt turn up. He is apparently absolutely livid becasue half the cars were for his taxi firm, the rest offered on to people known to him and the business (my dad does auto aircon and knows the people involved through that). The story he gave my Father was that m'learned friends have been instructed as he suspects the vendor (the receiver?) is selling elsewhere for a higher price despite having received payment.
The cars are supposed to form part of a large order by a car hire firm which was cancelled when Rover went under.
I have not spoken to my parents since Friday, so I dont know if there has been any progress. I assume that if the cars were there I would have heard. I must admit I thought it sounded a bit too good to be true - hence the question - I thought someone would have known something if cars were being released.
So, you may or may not get TVM buying your bacon butties. Watch this space.

If he's going to sell them for £6K (if they ever turn up...) I wonder how much he paid for them.
