As I look at my first post, I see nothing between the quote marks.

What I thought I put in was:

Either replace front pads at 18,000-20,000 miles, or expect to have to replace discs every 25,000 miles.

(I'd also like to know why the quote I put in seems to have disappeared - esp if it subsequently reappears!)

I've got a feeling that the BR Website software removes things that are placed between quote marks; I believe this matter has come up previously. I believe the moderators use this facility.

Just to see whether I'm right, a little test.

If the following doesn't appear in my post then I'm right!

If it's anything like the Fiesta it's based on, the pads will be down to metal long before 25,000 miles.
