New Mazda 6 - Tally
I,ve ordered a new Mazda6 2.0 and was wondering what petrol to use ie ordinary supermarket which i usually use or should i use of the premium brands also has anybody any comments on the new Mazda6?

Shell Optimax - pay the extra. Although HJ seemed keen on this new Tesco premium stuff.

New Mazda 6 - turbo11
Had my mazda 6 for two years now.Have run it on shell unleaded most of the time(about 25000 miles) with some use of optimax(about 4000 miles).The optimax works marginally better,giving around 2mpg more than the normal unleaded.I tried the tesco high octane fuel but I noticed a small amount of soot in the tailpipe after about 400 miles so i have not used it since.

I have owned a Mazda 6 for 2 years. Mostly use Shell standard 95 octane. Tried Optimax a couple of times. The car did seem slightly more responsive, but in my opinion not worth the extra outlay. Didn't seem to be any more economical.
