Try EBay. There's a parts website where I found easily a gearbox for my car, delivered pronto and good. Of course secondhand suppliers won't reimburse labour if the part is no good, but they will replace the part.
Unfortunately I can't remember the website, but a bit of searching on EBay will probably turn it up. It's a sort of syndication service for well-organised mainly north country breakers' yards. Dearer than the real thing but no grovelling in the slime under a mountain of dead motors!

Not at my age, kid. Never liked that side of engineering much, especially when the mountain of dead motors creaked and tottered when you tugged at some recalcitrant component.
My favourite breaker's yard in Sussex, (alas no longer with us, health and safety ptui!!) had a big white bad-tempered gander that used to sneak up and try to peck you when you were hacking at your chosen corpse. You had to hit it on the beak with a spanner until it got discouraged.
'Your goose doesn't seem to like me much,' I complained once.
'He don't like anyone much,' his owner replied fondly.
