Best supermini for 4.5k - wjh

I'm looking for a newish supermini (02 on) with a reasonable amount of space for carrying stuff around. Maximum 1.2 litre for insurance purposes. My dad suggests the new Fiesta, and I like it a lot, but have seen brand new Kia Picantos at under 5k. What do you think, any suggestions?

Dont like Punto, Clio or 206.

Nissan Micra 5dr worth a look with lots around. Fiestas are around in large numbers also, and the evergreen Corsa as well. All would fit in your budget for £4.5k 02 on.

Try a test drive of the Kia first and if it suits your requirments then indeed go for it. Its all a matter of personal preference of course.

Best supermini for 4.5k - landmarked

For that money I would recommend something like a Skoda Fabia or Seat Ibiza 1.4TDi, or possibly a Clio. All vastly superior cars to the Kia that will also hold their value better.
