Window Sox - Altea Ego
Found these while looking around. They look really useful this drought stricken summer.

These do look like a great idea compared to the carpy suction-cup blinds sold in most accessory shops. Might get a pair for my drive down to the South of France this summer.

Now be honest. Were you really "looking around" as you suggest or did Nicole suggest putting one on the driver's door?

Not bad, Adam - I've been waiting all day for your thoughts on TVM's Hot Sox!

Can you thick woollen ones for a cold winters day?

Do they come in Burberry Check?

Can you get sports soxs for a GTi, or little pop soxs for a cabrio.

Bet you always lose one in the wash.

How about fish net tights?
Window Sox - Nsar
If you buy them from Agent Provocateur, does it make you a more aggressive driver?

I feel the silly thread beckoning.....

Can you get Window Sox for the Rolls-Royce Phantom or do RR supply special ones as an £800 accessory?

Before we head off to the silly thread ...
Ok, MY car has a host of anti-sun protection. I have a concertina-type aluminium-foiled thingy which goes over the dash, is held in place by the visors, and covers the windscreen, one for the back as well, which covers the rear parcel shelf and the speakers.
Back side window has a sucker-attached see-through-able screen to keep the sun off the kiddies in the backseat (transferable from left to right - a bit of Port Out, Starboard Home there).
Now, as any of the colonial types (where the devil IS The Growler, anyway?) will tell you, getting into a car which is at around 60 degrees C, with seats, steering wheel, seatbelt and gearshift at the same temperature, is NOT a pleasant experience.
Especially in shorts.
And the damage caused to dashboards by over-exposure to sun has to be seen to be believed.
Back to Window sox - looks like a dirt-magnet to me! I'll stay with the winnie-the-pooh-and-tigger-too motif, thnx.
