I have just been given a 1990 Mk3 Fiesta 1.1 LX (31000miles little beauty) for my son. Only problem No Keys !!!!!! I have removed the steering lock housing and drilled out the pin holding the Barrel in bu it will only come out half way. Any ideas how to get I out so I can get a replacement an fit it ???????
Any help greatly appreciated

if you look to the back of the colomn there's usually a small hole just behind ignition barrel push a rivet or something similar into the hole....you will need to drill the barrel enuff so you can turn it as you turn it push rivet in o.k. hope this helps...................................

after you have drilled the centre of the barrel out you need to turn with a large screwdriver the ignition bit to what was position 2 before you can push the pin in.
Be aware that when you put new lock in there will be swarf that will have gotten into the steering lock mechanism this really wants wiping out or will cause sticking problems,also be careful how you put the new barrel in .
