Which supermarket or dealership could I goto, to get the best discount on a new car such as an Audi A4 or A3 and a Passat.

If your looking at A3, A4 & Passat you'll struggle to find them brand new at supermarkets so you are probably best trawling through the brokers and seeing what they will do you one for then playing a couple of dealers off with the broker price. If you get no joy then order via the broker.

The best brokers saving I found on my A3 about a year ago was less than £1,000 - the main dealer soon found this in the deal.

The Audi dealer near J3 of the M5 was quite happy to try and match online quotes I was getting last year. In fact the lady, Jessica Bale I think her name was, was happy to beat it. And she rang back when she said she would. Beechwood Audi I think is the name of the place.

Of course I eventually came to my senses and realised how much I would be paying over and above a Passat / Accord for nothing but image, so I didn't buy from them eventually. I told them though, and apart from a feedback leaflet they've left me alone, so I'd happily go there again once the lease on this car runs out.
