Was in one of the high street fashiopn outlets (shopping with daughter) only to find that Dunlop Green Flash plimsols are now a fashion item! Dunlop can't be doing to badly.
Must dig out the 30 year old pair from the garage and list on ebay!

I think you will find that Dunlop Spoprts equipment and Dunlop Tyres are no longer related and parted company 30/40 years ago. A bit like the Aero engines & cars of Rolls-Royce.

Nothing wrong with the old Green Flash!
I worked at a sports shop once, and we used to sell hundreds of pairs every summer to foreign (mostly Italian) tourists - apparently the Green Flash was a high fashion item in Rome.
That and Stan Smith tennis shoes.
29.99 - Ker-ching!
Ripping it back to motoring, for some reason in this neck-of-the-woods the latest retro motoring fad is the static-strip hanging from the rear bumper (circa 1983?). I haven't seen them for AGES, but suddenly every boy-racer and chavster has them fitted to their corsa or Golf.
