Mondeo 96 1.8LX Noise when steering at low speed, no pulling to left suspension problems but "grinding" noise when sub 10mph.

is the belt tight or well worn 5rib x 575 cheap from any factor
dont get a micky mouse get a Gates or recognised brand

Is there fluid in PAS reservoir? I had this - leaking coolant pipe (situated behind front bumper).

Thanks - yes, fluid seems OK, coolant resevoir also OK. PAS reservoir covered in lot of thickish black stuff. Don't know if this is normal accumulation

the black dirt around the top may just be engine bay this is normall what colour is your fluid it should be red if its black your system may be contaminated from incorrect fluid being used or dirt in the system????
