Choices Choices - Car
Have narrowed my choice for next car down to 3, these being

Ford Mondeo Diesel 2000 model onwards

Skoda Octavia TDI

Mitubushi Carisma either GDI or TD-DI model

If any one owns one of the above or has done I would be grateful to hear your expereince.

No make that two.

Dump the charisma. The GDI engine could be completley gummed up, and the td-di not the best oil burner.

I'm with TVM - a colleague has just got rid of his Company Mondeo diesel and I though it was an excellent car - he did approx 130K without a single problem (motorway miles).

The carisma was a wild card choice but do like the Mondeo or Octavia.

The amount I will have to spend is £3,500 to £4,500.
