Cleber Tyres - Anyone heard of these - just spoke to a garage who claim they are made by Michellin and are a good tyre.

Had Kleber Dynaxer on the rear of my Passat recently.
Good price and happy with them for grip, life etc.
And made by Michelin indeed.

History. I believe but these were made in the German occupied portion of France (Alsace) during the early years of the C20 and given a suitably German sounding name....? Well respected in Mainland Europe.

It is of course now the French occupied portion of Germany.

Kleber tyres are very well thought of in agriculture, I have got them on my tractor and they have been excellent.
I also had Klebers on my old Sierra and found them OK.

Have a pair on the front of the Xantia, second pair on there in my ownership. First pair did about 22k with no problems.

I had Kleber tyres on the front once on a 1983 Cavalier 1600. They just didn't wear out, but they weren't much good on roundabouts on wet days.....
