I don't think it is, but I'm not sure as my Fram catalogue isn't handy. I think the R-reg has a PH5566 filter but the Hdi has a PH9599 so no they're not interchangable

Look up PH5566 & PH9599 filters, and their applications here:

www.filtrauto.com/catalogues/FO/scripts/cat_fich_f...3 shows the HDI's and 1.9D using the same filter, but there again, more 1.9D's also use www.filtrauto.com/catalogues/FO/scripts/cat_fich_f...B

If in doubt, use the HDI filter, they are swappable going backwards. You will also notice that most Peugeots use the LS923. The Xsara 1.4 uses the LS867B but the Pug 206 1.4 uses the LS923 but had 20k services not 12k. (identical engine, dad and I used to own both of them, I had the Xsara).

Probably not the same. Based on Motaquip information these are the details:

1.9td's up to 5/98 used a VFL208 (aftermarket)/VFL354 (OE) filter

1.9td's from 6/98 and all 2.0 HDi's use a VFL427
