Thanks very much, this is why I love this forum. Wish I could find my old account details

It's possible I'm talking out of my exhaust pipe..
But, I think you've posted the details for the "FIRE" engine -
1108 in the Sporting Cinq.
AFAIK the 899 is a developement of the old 903 pushrod engne.
I don't have a Cinq book, but the 903 in Haynes (Panda) is
Stage 1 30 Nm.
Stage 2 59 Nm.
No further stages.
Order as above.
Take care.

The figures you've posted for the Panda 903 engine match the data that I have to hand, but the data I have for the 1108 Sporting Cinq is:-
Stage 1 = 30Nm
Stage 2 = 90°
Stage 3 = 90°
I've just double checked the 1995 899cc model engine data I have, and it's as I posted further up the thread.

well it is a pushrod engine but I dont know if its a 'fire' engine or not. I'll go with the first data given and if it seems like they are over torquing I'll just try and be sensible so I dont strip the threads or crack the block.

Looks like my emissions need checking...
Apologies for the confusion.

Apologies for the confusion.
No need. Who's to say that my info is entirely accurate?
