Somebody reversed into my 2004 Fiesta bumper with just enough force to crack the shiny top surface and cause one small area to curl upwards. Its bound to be caught on the clothing of the next person who walks by. Does anybody know of a glue that will stick it down or other repair procedure ? Superglue doesnt seem to work.

I don't know that bumper, but usually these "unglueable" plastics can be joined with a hot soldering iron. Black plastic coathangers can be used as "filler". Well ventilated - just in case.

Halfords sell a plastic bumper repair kit.
I have used Plastic Metal and filler successfully in the past...

Forgot to add: secret is to scratch surface to which glue is to be applied to ensure a "key" for the glue. Then clean with white spirits to remove any plasticiser or mold removal compound left on bumper.. and leave 30 mins to dry...

Point no.1, don't use white spirit as it is slightly oily and will no use whatsoever. 2. regarding unglueable plastics, try a motor cycle shop, they usually sell plastic bodywork/fairing repair kits, fairings and bumpers tend to be the same sort of high impact ABS type of plastics, which superglues are generally useless on.
