Despite everything; for some unfathomable reason, I quite like them too... BUT:-
P38's are just a black hole that endlessly swallow huge amounts of your hard-earned. Quite frankly, unless you were the one that turned-over that Securitas depot last week; they'll bankrupt you. You'd be better off piling all your money into a big heap and setting it alight - that way you'll at least get some warmth from it.
So can anyone explain why I - STILL - like the things....? [The sanity pills clearly aren't working - I need professional help...]

MMMMMMMMMMMMMM" I wondered why a 35k jeep could be bought for 5k after just 100k on the clock, are they really that bad,my 96 frontera 2.8 cost 2600 over a year ago,and only gave it a service and belt, and thats it, going a treat, but still fancy a RR though???

Its a financial disaster to own one ,the 2.5 is so under powered you think the car has a engine problem and V8 lurches from petrol station to petrol station much better to buy a Mitzy,Land Cruiser or a Patrol.

Guess I will have to re think the whole Range Rover posing about....cant afford to run a petrol, but I thought the BMW 6 cyl was a good diesel???

Suggest you look through the Q&A boards for Rangerover on the following site: www.lro.com/nav

I agree the 2.5 D is an absolute SLUG, not helped by very badly chosen gear ratios for road work use. You really will think someone has chained you down with an ship anchor.
