ive got a vento vr6 m reg,im looking for a cat bypass kit,does anyone know where i can one?

I no expert,but at my workshop have cut out and welded in a straight through pipe on many a car,only takes an hour or so,but the MOT emissions may be a problem after,you could probably do the same job with a bit of pipe from the "kwik fit skip" and a couple of "u" clamps,and the cordless cut off saw,(ie hacksaw)but would it be worth the hassle?is your cat knackered,it is possible to buy a sperious universal cat,but again involes welding or clamping.

Quite common in Germany back in the nineties;most people who bought them,fitted them,but for the TUV test(mot)which is every two years,refitted the cat.
