The Sportage strikes me as very good looking vehicle and has had some very strong reviews.
The weak point seems to be diesel only producing 111 bhp, however browsing drivethedeal tonight I noticed they refer to a "138" version.
Has the engine been uprated, presumably with greater torque as well) ?
If so, I will take a closer look. Nothing on Kia website about it.

I don't think PS and BHP are much different?
Seems to have had a boost in power, but I have seen nothing about it.
Looking to replace thirsty petrol CRV at some stage and Sportage looks to be a possible candidate.

Looking at the latest specs on the website I see that the diesel is now sporting a 'variable geometry turbocharger' (pardon the pun..... couldn't resist it).
The original diesel Sportages just had a 'bog standard' turbocharger so perhaps this is what is giving the power boost.
