Any BR's managed to wangle a Halfords trade card yet and are the savings worthwhile?

I would think that a halfords trade card would only bring the price down to a almost normal level - can't say i've seen any garages sourcing parts through halfords.
It would still probably be cheaper to get parts from a local motor factor.

I do tend to get my parts from a good local factor. If the trade card brings worthwhile discounts it could be useful for those Sunday afternoon purchases when the factors are closed!
