£950 and yer as if its a respray it will be for a reason n ive already managed to have two dodgy cars ha, not great when ur disaabled ha , but i cant afford anythin more

Check places like under the boot carpet and in the engine bay. If it's had external respray only, then it's unlikely that the internal metal surfaces have also been resprayed. Also check around the window rubbers for signs of masking off or overspray.
Not sure where the paint code is on these cars (next to the VIN plate?) but perhaps if you can find it and post it on here, someone *may* be able to confirm the actual colour.

if its a very light powder blue it was available on the 25, 45 and the last MGFs - around 2000 but dont recall it on the 200 unless it was a run out model around that time.
Guess would it has been resprayed - VIN plate is under the bonnet at the front above the radiator..paint code is 3 letters - eg PMF. If you post that up then I should be able to tell you the original colour

Isnt the VIN plate located on one of these at the bottom of the passenger side B piller?
