I have read somewhere about a 'Diesel Warning Device' you clip on the filler flap and every time you open it reminds you to fill with diesel. Can anyone point me to it I can't find it. Regards Peter

You may also need a disguise for when you fill up and everyone stares at you!

Our fleet department sent all diesel drivers one of these to fit - a lot of petrol going into the diesel cars. Needless to say that I have not fitted mine because of the embarrassment of it sounding off every time you fill up.

I seem to remember that when diesel first became common on our forecourts, the pump itself boomed out a warning that it was diesel.
Would that not still be simpler?
