Aprilia has mentioned a long lance with a 90 degree angled end for cleaning underneath cars.
I'd be interested in knowing the details - i.e. where to get one of these lances, what name they go under, etc.

I had mine custom made to fit my Karcher (its just a bent piece of S/S pipe with Karcher fitting at one end and adjustable nozzle at the other). Cost me £25 IIRC

I was going to suggest eBay, it seems to be pretty good for all sorts of Karscher stuff. I got a replacement handle for mine when it started to leak (SWMBO left it turned on for half an hour not being used) cost about a fiver, shops wanted a price close to that of the whole unit.

I made one from a bit of 15mm copper pipe, expoxied onto a standard connector fitting. I progressively squeezed the end of the pipe until I achieved a jet of the right wash profile.
Mine has a hairpin bend for doing up behind wheel arches, but it could be made to any length with any angle on the end.

A garden lawn spray under the front of the car then drag slowly backwards from the back of the car.

I don't think you can have ever used a pressure washer if you think a garden lawn sprayer gives an equivalent blast.
A pressure washer will strip all the underseal off to the metal if not used carefully, a lawn sprayer surely just wets the dirt so that the salt can start corroding again.

Set to a wide fine spray, rather than a 'jet'.
