New RFT tyres - Pezzer
I had a puncture on one of the rears yesterday - outside lane doing 70 (cough), I wouldnt have known had the warning light not come on. Its certainly quite impressive - I'm fairly confident even if it had been on the front it would have been similarly uneventful.
Anyway Fleetco said 'take it to KWIK FIT' and as the other rear tyre was getting low they replaced the pair like for like (Bridgestone Potenzas).

Anyway what a difference, I was getting a bit dischuffed with the RFTs mainly due to the ride and feel during the winter. These new ones feel like normal tyres; they feel more grippy and the ride is significantly softer.

I'm wondering if Bridgestone have upgraded their RFT in the last year or so, although Kwik Fit only put 34psi into them despite me pointing out that the plaque on the car said 2.5bar which I think is 37psi.

36.25 psi. (14.5 psi = 1 bar)
