If its not a built in feature of the car, then no garage will disable it for you and nor should you.

Pay even more money, buy the MB kiddie seat which has a transponder inside it to immobilise the airbag. On the other hand, if this vehicle is out of warranty you might be wise to jump out of the MB money pit and sell it. (See other A-class threads here).
