Looks interesting, but frankly I'm sceptical too.

And so you should be! It's been discussed here before - see the following thread

I think they've been covered on here before.

Basically, Mondeo 1.8 LX costs £15,857. Over five years that works out at £264.28 per month with no deposit.

Alternatively you could buy the same car from UK Car Broker (to pick one at random), borrow the money with no deposit over the same five years for £212.62 per month and pay a total of £12,757.20.

Not only that, if you pay the loan off after three years (or early at all) you save the interest for the remainder of the loan.

That's a fairly extreme example but generally a high APR and a lower purchase price is better with the same total credit price. Obviously for something like a MINI or a Golf R32 where there is no chance of a discount, they'd be great... but I doubt there are too many of these cars on the site.

Where cars are available with smaller discounts, the site requires a larger deposit, thereby reducing the interest saving.

All the same, there would be something charming about the category of interest-free cars, were it not so universal in most people's eyes. Heaven knows even if you like the things there are plenty that soon get boring.
