1995 diesel espace blower switch

1995 diesel espace blower switch - highwayone
My heater/cooler fan only works on the highest setting, what would I need to get the fan working on all 4 settings ?

The resistor pack needs replacing. Speed 4 is the only speed that doesn't need it. No idea where it's located. Some cars have them right next to the fan motor, others by the controller switch in the dash.

resistor pack I suspect,highest setting is direct 12v supply to motor

The heater blower motor and resistor pack are situated in the engine bay.Under bonnet above the engine is the heater blower box assy.It is usually covered with a heat insulation matting held together with pop studs.The resistor is located inside this box together with the motor.However you may be lucky,often the loss of the first fan speeds is caused by a burnt/overheated multiplug connector that is visible to the left (n/side ) of the blower box.

Cheers... I'll look at this in the week....is the resistor pack a renault only supply ? any idea of the cost ?
