Plus Gas/Easing oil

Plus Gas/Easing oil - rocky
Any advice please on a good easing oil for assisting with loosening nuts and bolts. I have used Plus Gas in the dim and distant past but this product doesn't seem to exist anymore. I have also used WD40 not always successfully.Are there any other products readily available to the DIY mechanic that work? Thanks, Rocky.

Plus Gas/Easing oil - bell boy
the main agent in Plus Gas/Easing oil was diesel as it has a creep facility in its modlycules thingy so just diesel the thing you want to unfree the day before.

Yup very hard to beat just diesel or parafin

I have used Plus Gas but this product doesn't seem to exist anymore.


It's still available.
I have also used WD40 not always successfully.


That's because wd-40 isn't a penatrating oil.

Coke contains phosphoric acid, which is the main ingredient in rust-remover, so perhaps theres some logic there!

Plus Gas/Easing oil - adverse camber
that coke link omits the best story - coke is a contraceptive. Apparently there is phosphoric (?) acid in it which is a spermicide, which has lead to its use as a douche (before or after I have no idea) in parts of the 3rd world.

I have this from a doctor who worked in africa and swears its true.

Lubricant properties prob not relevant in this case.
