One question - why's a Yank doing the voiceover?

You would think that an advert for a car, especially one extolling the beauty of said car, would actually show the bleeping car!!!!. Instead we get shadowy profiles and shots of it driving away etc.

Or am I thinking too logically for todays ad execs?. Maybe its the same people who did Honda's ads, anyone remember actually seeing a current model car in one of those ads?. Cartoony flying diesel engines and various bits off an Accord, yes, but no actual car.

I actually enjoyed Honda's ads,especially the geezer with the seventies facial hair, brilliant.....evocative stuff.
