Did anyone see the first installment last Monday on BBC? A cop from 2006 goes back in time to 1973. We are not sure whether he is imagining it while in a coma or if he is really there. Anyway the point of this post is to talk about the array of Seventies cars on the sets which brought back memories. There's a Mk111 Cortina for instance. I had one and it was the worst motor I ever had, the camshafts kept wearing out ever 20000 miles. Mk11s were best. I loved my Marina though
While police tactics were tougher in those days the cars were certainly not.

I'm an ex-pat so only just got to see it as well. My favourite part: right at the start when he appears on a bit of waste ground and there was a beautiful blue K-reg V8 Rover P6. There was even a gratuitous view of the inside (the 'money shot' for P6 lovers like me).
