potted history
vehicle has an intermitant problem which sometimes causes it to stall at low revs main agent diagnosed problem with pcm power train control module (cost of part £2500 ) vehicle out of warrenty due to milage 70k Mazda kindly agreed to bear the whole cost of this part. new part fitted vehicle the same as i suspected now come on anyone got an idea!!
Symtoms car drives fine then occassionly starts staling everytime you slow down or dip clutch it also loses power when it does this then after a few minutes it corrects itself and then may run fine till the next time which could be another 500 miles Help

There's a well known fault with a faulty pressure-control solenoid inside the high-pressure fuel pumps on these. Your dealer should be very aware of this and should have correctly diagnosed the fault.

If Mazda won't cover this under warranty [and they wouldn't for an exactly similar case yesterday;] then get your local diesel specialists to remove the pump and contact Delphi [the UK concessionaires of these Denso pumps] as they can repair it at one of their three suitably-equipped repair centres.
