Hi,
I am trying to find the correct price at which to sell my Mitsubishi Galant.
On Parkers web site there seems to be two options for my model. One has AC, the other AC LPS.
I have serched the site and google with no luck. Does anyone know what these abbreviations stand for? I'm guessing AC is air conditioning, where as the car itself has climate control.

LPS could be 'Local positioning system'
a form of Sat Nav. by Motorola.

It may not help in your case, but there is an abbreviations site here:
www.motorvista.com/glossary.htm
|
. . . and of course a general motoring dictionary here:
sromagazine.com/paris/dictionary/index.htm

Interesting..Japanese cars usually only have a few, major, factory fit options, which usually appear in the model list:
Local Positioning System (seems plausible)
Lxxx? Panoramic Sunroof
Lxxx? Power Steering (unlikly, although isn't there something unusual about Galant's steering - do they have 4 wheel steering?)
Some model's (like the Accord) have bigger alloys has a factory fit option, but I'm struggling to get anything wheel related from LPS!

This has still got me stumped. The extra cost of LPS is £1000 brought new, or £100 when selling at 8 years old, as I am.

Looked in Parkers Feb 2004 paper version.
I am guessing Leather & Powered Seats.
Apr 97 2.5 V6 says optional leather trim and electric front seats.
No LPS in the tables of prices.
