M6 toll numbers down - Bill Payer
Saw an article saying last month's numbers were 44,583, and lower than Nov 04.
Funnily enough, I abandoned my conscientious objection to paying the toll (even though I can claim it back on my expenses) and I've used it a few times recently. However I noticed cars stopped by unmarked Police cars on 3 of my trips, which tends to take the gloss off it.
I still think a lot of people end up on it by mistake, esp from the North end.

Love it coolest bit of road in years ! Saw a nasty, very nasty accident on it the last time I used it. No Police in sight just a Paramedic's MPV protecting the scene.
