Ps any update on the NW christmas meet yet?
|
2nd or 3rd Tuesday in January by the looks of things.
I'll revive the thread after Christmas.
|
P.S.
Merry Christmas to all.

I would also like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and, thank you all for helping me with various queries, both car related, Computer and IHAQ threads. Special thanks to the Mods for keeping this forum to the standard we have became accustomed to and what makes it such interesting viewing.
I would also like to publicly thank $till $kint and Adam for some more in-depth and time consuming help they have given me as well.
My wish for next year? The only thing I would ask is that when people pose questions & queries, look for advice etc, that they come back and let everyone know what they did. Can be infuriating reading threads and not finding out the end result!
Merry Xmas!
|
I'll add Happy Holidays to all and sundry.
Echo BobbyG thoughts, can people please tell us how things pan out in the end? We all learn then.
|
Merry Christmas and a happy new year to everyone!
Looking forward to another year here.

And it's bad manners on the part of the person asking the question.
Merry Crimbo everyone, and thanks for all your help. My computer literacy has increased a lot this year thanks to the advice from Backroomers.

Yes a happy christmas to one and all also my petrol head 10 Y/O son Huw says the same too (but he likes body kitted Corsa's)....HELP!
|
You're an absolute gent Bobby - thanks very much.
I too would like to extend a thank you to everyone who has helped me over the past year - sadly there are just too many of you to name by....er...name. But I really do appreciate it just as I like reading other people's comments and general discussion.
I realise I can babble on a bit and kinda steer threads off course for which I apologise to anyone who's had to suffer it. But, that aside, I know I've already said it; I'll say it again though. Merry Christmas to everyone and I hope the New Year is a happy one too.

Merry xmas all. Mrmender, dont worry, he'll grow out of Corsa's. My boy still has a worrying tendancy towards Fiat Cromas, but i'me weaning him off gradually...

A happy (preferably merry) Christmas to everyone from me too, and I wish you plenty of Vorsprung durch Technik in 2006 (that's the year, not another underpowered Pug...)
If you've been to or are going to a carol concert or Christmas service, you may hear the famous carol by Peter Cornelius:
Three kings from Persian lands afar
To Jordan follow the pointing star....
Nice to know that the three wise men came in a Mercedes....
|
Nice to know that the three wise men came in a Mercedes....
Did you know that they also had motor bikes in those days, well it says in the bible that Moses's Triumph was heard all over Israel ...
Happy Christmas everyone!
|
Merry Christmas everybody and may we all end up with the cars we desire in 2006!

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year everybody
Heres hoping someone else's Christmas spirit doesn't turn you into the ghost of Christmas yet to come

Didn't we have a thread about what car would god drive?A biblical quote came up with'and god came down in his triumph'.
A herald I would think.
Festive good wishes to all.

It must have been as loud as my old Beesa!
Anyway, Toad the Supra has had an outing in the fine weather today, blowing at over 15 pounds, and has now gone into retreat for Christmas (in case of salt), leaving best wishes for Christmas and New Year to all, in which I heartily concur.

Are you sure that the poem about Jordan is not by Peter Andre?

Happy Cristmas / Hannukah / winter solstice / whatever-it-is-you-celebrate to y'all!

Bah humbug. I'm going to spend the day sending out bills!

Looking at all the forum stickies, rules and regulations I have had this message approved by the legal department of moderator central, also trying not to incur the wrath of No Wheels (yes impossible I know)
Please accept, with no obligation, implied or inferred, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practised within the most enjoyable of traditions of the religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice, with respect to the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practise religious or secular practices at all.
And a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year of 2006, but with due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make Britain great (not to imply that Britain is necessarily greater than any other country), and without regard to the race, creed, gender, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith, choice of computer platform or sexual orientation of the wish.

The Oxford Book of Carols and Carols for Choirs both ascribe words and music to Peter Cornelius, who as far as I know was both a poet and a composer.
Not sure what car God would choose - a Herald sounds the best suggestion. It wouldn't be a Triumph Acclaim as the German for that is Sieg Heil. "Jesus our Emmanuel" suggests that it wouldn't be an automatic.

Espada III - well if you have a family and need a Lamborghini, what else do you drive?

All the very best to each and every one of the BR members.
Eat, drink and be merry and forget all about the pleasures of driving until the effects have fully worn off...:-)

Well no need to leave bits of carrots in the hearth or mince pie crumbs.
A peaceful snooze on the morn rather than a dawn chorus.
No more 300 transfers to be stuck on transformers etc. etc.
Those were the days.
A Merry Christmas to all
To those with little ones do take some photos cos there is still magic around.

Seasons Greetings to each and everyone of you, and i hope you all have a very good new year...cheers...keo.
