Does anyone know if there is a way of closing an electric sunroof on a Mazda 323 if the electrics fail. Most cars have a place to insert a tool and wind them back by hand but there's no mention of anything in the handbook. Ours hasn't failed, but just in case as we found we needed to do this on a previous car.
Thanks

Strange its not mentioned in the handbook, but I?m lead to believe that these days, poorly written handbooks are not uncommon.
Is there some kind of cover or flap near the sunroof mechanism? If there is, carefully remove it and see if there is some crank/handle attached to the inside. Where this crank is inserted in to is anyone?s guess, but look for a similar profiled hole/socket to insert it.

There aren't any flaps or plastic covers. There are however, interior lights both in front and to the rear of the sunroof. I'll have a look underneath these when I get chance.
Thanks for the reply
