Good idea - I'll have to get some of that, if I wipe it off quickly it shouldn't do too much damage

As perhaps a few others with little ones may attest, baby wipes are good at getting out virtually anything from anything. Little miss lordy put biro on our leather couch not two days ago, a baby wipe removed all traces instantly. Baby wipes have magical powers, i use them on my white shirts when the inevitable is spilled at work.

Marc, if you do a search here, you may find this has been discussed before. Reason being I also asked the question and the solution that worked for me was sparaying hairspray on it and very quickly wiping it.
I did this on my leather couch and it worked great ALTHOUGH. at first glance it seemed to have lifted some of the colour, however looking at it as I write, I cannot find any mark on the couch.
If you do use hairsparay, I would suggest you cover as little area as possible, don't know if spraying a cotton bud and using that would be enough? As soon as you get the ink out, wipe the leather with a damp cloth.

you could also try asking at a good drycleaners.
Oh, and next time....
BLACK leather.
