Saw a mini cooper (current model) with the number RU 51OKE with that spacing ysterday evening (near Stoke).
Any guesses as to what the number should be? - sadly no prize!

Ahem
RU 51 OKE perhaps?

Sad but "are you bloke"??
I was on the M25 and overtook a car and noticed that the spacing on the rear number plate was odd but it did not make sense;however reading it backwards(rear view mirror) it did-sadly I can't remember what it was.

Am i missing the point of this thread? The reg number wants to say 'Are you Stoke?' As in a Stoke City football fan. For more information on the 'Stoke' read 'Naughty' by Mark Chester, about Stoke City's firm of footbal hooloigans the 'Naughty Forty'
Sorry if i'm quoting the obvious re number plate!
let me be the last to let you down....

Wow a whole new niche market. I can imagine Bristol City Council reserving BR15 TOL for 2015 to replace 1 AE.
|
Depending on how you read it, the Stoke fan appears to have a close connection with Reading and the Slough fan is obviously Scottish.
It's all a load of rubbish and both plates are worthless anyway: everyone knows that you need an "E" plate which is where all the best people and cars come from.

Barnsley Council have THE 1 and THE 2 on the majoral limos.
They've had them for years and must be worth some serious money by now I reckon. Best Investment they've ever made.

I saw a Mini Cooper with the plate KN03 ROT and a couple of extra black bolts.

Whilst out and about in stoke earlier today i saw a Red Audi TT with S70KEC - the 7 had been tampered with and spacing was played with to make it appear like STOKE C
|
How's this for tampering? Seen last year whilst I was down the south coast.

My wife and I saw one yesterday, on the A38, travelling towards the MI from Sutton-in-Ashfield, which had what could only be described as a thin scrawl written on the plate. In addition, behind two numbers, six and nine, was a kind of cross hatched pattern, which made it impossible to see the numbers at even a quite short distance away (the numbers could just be seen if one was close to the plate). The six and nine were also very close together.
I really don't know how people get away with doing such things to registration plates.
