Vauxhall corsa 2002 rear hub nut torque - kurnal
Please can anybody advise the correct torque setting for the rear hub nut on a 2002 corsa comfort 1.2 5 door

The tourqe is 175nm from auto data it also says use new nut.

I assumed that the nut would be a one shot job, whatever was wrong with castellated nuts? But its had to go back on for now- though its the offside wheel so I guess not so critical. One of those nuts made round then crimped oval I guess.

Is it the sort that has a 'knock in'locking system?If so swap it with the other side and an unbent area should be by the indentation after torquing.Having said that a new one is preferable,but a useful trick if you cannot get one straightaway.
