Have any backroomers been to Mustique in the caribbean? I'm relocating there for a two year period from January, and would like more info about the cost of living on the island!
Oh, and to keep this motoring linked, i'm being given a car while over there. For an island that's only 3 miles long and 1.5 miles wide, my commute to work is going to be quite short.

sadly not - it's the hard hat and steel toe boot forum for me.
trying to look good in boardshorts and safety boots will be one issue i'll have to deal with!!
apparently most people use golf buggies or horses. electric motor or 1 equine horse power for 2 years will be quite difficult from 130 bhp in my focus.
mind you, drinking tequilas with david bowie and tommy hilfiger on a beachside bar by a turquoise sea should help.
