Definitely a TS10.
Do you know that from personal experience Adamski? ;-)

She's not happy. It seems to have put her insurance premium up.
I had heard that 3 points didn't make any difference, but is that only if the 3 points are an SP30?

I think different insurers take different views.
Some years back I had a "short period of disqualification" (2 weeks, for 108 on a motorway) and I don't recall my premiums being affected.

Speeding, as the insurers know, is rarely indicative of increased risk (despite what DoT and ACPO tell us). Running red lights on the other hand......
It's not the points, it's the offence code (and frequency of if there are multiple offences) that is taken into account.

$$ has got it spot on. It's the fact it's a traffic signal offence. I also believe having no insurance (I forget the code) will result in a hefty loading of your premiums.
And Snaily, I got flashed on a green light once so did a little research. In fact, it's that very event that prompted me to sign up to the Back Room.
If only I hadn't ;-)

Err...what premiums? :-)
|
Well - there is that!
I wouldn't like to try out a quote putting in one of those offence codes - over on PePiPoo they reckon it's quite severe. As is failing to name the driver which I think, is an MS90 code.
Surely if you're the type of person to drive around uninsured, when you've been caught, you're unlikely to get insurance - much less when you realise how much your premiums will be loaded by.
