A note to anyone travelling south in Scotland to Stirling. J10, just south of Perth, is closed for repairs for three weeks and the official diversion route involves leaving the M90 at the next junction then doubling back on yourself through a temporary light to rejoin it, retracing your steps on the other carriageway and finally turning left on the north junction to the A9. It's a complete a pain in the ass, with queues to leave the motorway and queues to rejoin it. The diversion probably makes you drive at least 8 miles needlessly.
Better just heading through Perth to the A9. It's exactly what they don't want you to do and it's quicker and cheaper.
