Oh good. Still got the 156 Al? For some reason I thought you'd got rid.
Who's going to be the first to say "Is that because you hadn't heard of it breaking down for a while?"

Oh look! It was me!
Those Mondeo TDCi drivers must be getting slow. ;)

Lol. It should be pointed out that I never meant it like that at all.
I love Alfas and I'd have one in a shot if I had the do$h but sadly I'm Still Skint.
.....oh come on! NW and Patently have been committing lexical travesties in the Deer thread - at least allow me this one.

No, will be changing soon though. No point at the moment, I'm cycling to the current contract rather than piling the miles on.
There's a house move in the offing. Once this place is sold I'll be getting the Kia Sorento.

You'd better be moving close to here.
You promised me a go in it remember? ;-)

You badge snob, you ...

You'd be proud of me NW. I test drove most 4x4s up to £35k and settled on (a) one of the cheapest and (b) one of the most economical. I think only the X-Trail has better MPG figures, although the XC90 comes close.
It does everything I need (tows over 2 tonnes, capable off-road, comfy) so why worry about the badge? Don't get me wrong, I was drawn to Alfa by their heritage and my childhood love affair with the GTV6 and the Alfasud, but I wouldn't have bought it if it hadn't ticked all the boxes at that time.
Trouble is, life moves on and needs change, hence the need for a 4x4.
Now if only I could demonstrate that it runs on nothing but water, emits only kitten fluff and makes no contact with the earth I might be in your good books.

I note the vendor was first registered in September and has zero feedback..
